  • Pointed  at Tomas Afeworki and referred to him as a monkey

  • Attorney James Bible requested the monkey clock as evidence of Judge Middaugh's racism


  • Judge Middaugh conveniently removed the monkey clock before it could be admitted as evidence


  • Based on the monkey clock incident, Afeworki requested Judge Middaugh's recusal


  • Judge Middaugh refused and denied Afeworki's  request to present video and audio of her racist comments
